This last weekend we went to the worst BBQ Festival ever.
We got there at about 2:00 and there was no food left!!!!! There were only 5 stands cooking and they were all out. The event was supposed to go until 9:00. At least we got to hang out and listen to some local blues, especially since we had the hunger pain blues.
Sunday we had a great day in Monterrey, saw some sea lions playing in the water, had some crab sandwiches and went to the aquarium.
Last weekend we headed to San Francisco. We're slowly testing Maya's patience for longer car trips. Hopefully by Thanksgiving she'll be ready for a long day of travel.
We went to the Yerba Buena gardens where there was a philipine festival going on.
Then we walked down to the Ferry Plaza where there is a farmer's market and had some lunch by the water
We are slowly settling in...yesterday TiVo had a summer picnic for all the employees so we went to show off Maya...
and eat cotton candy!
Today we saw the doctor to get Maya checked out and caught up on immunizations. The schedule for immunizations is a little different here but not too different. She got a clean bill of health and is right on track for height and weight.
And tonight we went out to walk around our apartment complex
they just opened up a nice big pool and barbecue area so I know what we're doing this weekend!
Maya enjoyed getting out of the house
