Today Maya turns 8 months old. She's much more interactive these days. Gets excited when I walk in the door after work, grabs your hands and starts rocking to get you to sing "row row row your boat" with her, and continues to do lots of babbleing. Still not crawling though.

We spent a day last weekend in the Golden Gate Park and visited the newly renovated de Young Museum. Outside they have a sculpture garden with a giant safety pin.

Maya's starting to get a sense of humor and beginning to look to get reactions from us. She knows that I like it when she hits the right button on any of any of her million toys that play music. And as soon as she does it she looks at me and laughs.
She's also learned that its funny to drop the toys off her high chair and watch us pick them up. As much as I know not to laugh when she does certain things, you just can't help it. Won't be so funny when its spaghetti she's throwing on the floor.
